Welcome everyone!

Mish here, happy to host Open Link Night.

As usual, OLN is an opportunity for you to share ONE poem via Mr. Linky. You can then embark on the poetry trail, reading and commenting on the work of other poets. There is no particular theme or form required. Feel free to respond to a prompt you may have missed or take inspiration from the optional mini-prompt below.

On March 2, 2025, Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Lander is scheduled to land on the moon, after lifting off on Jan. 15th. Besides carrying scientific instruments, also onboard is a time capsule, called “Serenity”, part of the Lunar Codex, thanks to Dr. Samuel Peralta. As many of you may know, Samuel was a past pub tender for dVerse Poets Pub. He has kindly included our anthologies, The dVerse Anthology – Voices of Contemporary World Poetry and Chiaroscuro – Darkness and Light. So with fingers crossed for a smooth descent, the poetry of many dVerse regulars will forever be archived in this amazing “museum on the moon”. There is a multitude of information to navigate on the Lunar Codex website. You can find the dVerse books listed with all the authors, by clicking on Letters, followed by Poetry Collections. The anthologies are originally included in the Polaris time capsule as well, slated for December 2025, therefore we have two chances for a successful landing!

With that said, I have been feeling slightly moon-inspired! Your mini-prompt today if you so choose, is to find your muse in one of the images below.
