Good evening, everyone!

Sanaa here (aka adashofsunny) delighted to host Open Link Night, which serves as an opportunity for us to link ONE poem of our choice for reading pleasure.

There is no specific form or theme required for OLN but if you are looking for a little inspiration, here is an optional mini prompt:

Consider this line from Penumbrae by John Updike.

“The shadows have their seasons, too.”

For further inspiration, I have used AI to create two images of shadows in Autumn and Spring, keeping in mind the Southern and Northern hemispheres.

If you choose to use the optional prompt, you can use the line, the AI work, both or just one.
