Good evening, everyone!
Sanaa here (aka adashofsunny) delighted to host Open Link Night today and Live edition on Saturday.
You can link up one poem of your choice down below or write to the optional mini prompt which we are offering today.
This is a live edition, but we will only have one opportunity to join on Saturday at 10 AM New York Time. The session will run on Google Meet.
Please click on the link below to join us on Saturday:

Now for the mini-prompt:
Consider this line from Edna St Vincent Millay’s poem from “The Unexplorer.”
“There was a road ran past our house, too lovely to explore.”
For further inspiration I have created an image using AI to stir your muse.

If you choose to use the optional prompt, you can use the line, the AI work, both or just one.
When you have linked up the poem you can read and comment as usual, and you are welcome to join us on the live session at 10 AM New York Time. Have fun and see you on the poetry trail!
Welcome to Open Link Night + Live everyone
On the menu, we have scallops with grapefruit-onion salad and sauvignon blanc, beet risotto with rose champagne or if you prefer, we also have dark chocolate and cherry scones with coffee/tea of your choice 🙂
Let me know if I can get you anything else! See you on the poetry trail! 🩷🩷

Good evening poets, and thank you Sanaa for hosting. I’ve already had my evening meal but, as the food at the bar is virtual, I would love some dark chocolate and cherry scones with coffee. I’ve linked up with a poem from seven years ago, which I hope you will like. I’ll be back on Saturday for the live edition.
Dark chocolate and cherry scones with coffee for the lovely lady 🥰 heading over to read you, Kim!

My poem is weird and dark. I’d like a glass of wine with a side of hemlock, or an asp, whichever on you keep behind the bar.

Unable to attend as I am out of the time zone though absolutely enjoy the wide range of poetry that I’ve stumbled across.
Hi Suzanne, so good to see you! Yes, I can understand the difference in time zone can be a bit difficult to deal with .. nevertheless, we will always be connected via poetry 🩷🩷
