Good evening, everyone!
Sanaa here (aka adashofsunny) delighted to host Open Link Night today and Live edition on Saturday.
You can link up one poem of your choice down below or write to the optional mini prompt which we are offering today.
This is a live edition, but we will only have one opportunity to join on Saturday at 10 AM New York Time. The session will run on Google Meet.
Please click on the link below to join us on Saturday:

Now for the mini-prompt:
Consider this line by Pablo Neruda’s poem from “A Lemon.”
“Out of lemon flowers loosed on the moonlight, love’s lashed and insatiable essences, sodden with fragrance, the lemon tree’s yellow emerges.”
For further inspiration I have included an image to stir your muse.

If you choose to use the optional mini-prompt, then please do remember to give due credit to the Poet and his work as an epigraph somewhere in your post.
When you have linked up the poem you can read and comment as usual, and you are welcome to join us on the live session at 10 AM New York Time. Have fun and see you on the poetry trail!

Good evening poets, and thank you for hosting, Sanaa. I’ve linked up a poem, but won’t be able to hang around this evening. I will be back in the morning to read and comment, and I’ll be joining in the live edition on Saturday.
See you on Saturday, Kim! Heading over to read you now 🥰🥰

I am adding smoked turkey slices to the list, and if you have a sweet tooth like me, then I hope you’d like Devil’s food cake with coffee/tea of your choice.
See you on the poetry trail! ❤️❤️

Hello Sanaa and everyone. I always enjoy the prompts here and participate when I can. But I’ve never made it to an Open Link Night. So, I don’t know exactly how these meets go. Sat. 10a.m NYT is 11p.m. Sat in Japan. Perhaps I can attend? I wouldn’t want to die before experiencing one OLN with THIS gang of poets that take my breath away. So, I’ll keep the link details at hand and will be the shadow listening in. Thanks.
I’d also be honored to have a poem or two considered for the upcoming anthology. I will give that a try. Thanks for giving me such a dream. Wow!
shrimp cocktail and a full bodied glass of red please. Thanks dearly.
Good evening, Selma! Shrimp cocktail and a full bodied glass of red coming right up 🙂
Hope to see you on Saturday ❤️❤️
