Summer has gone, and for me, I spent it mostly in the coolness of the mountains except for those last few weeks of August. It was a true blessing to finally meet one of our bartenders here in Stockholm. Lillian and I spent a wonderful day in a city still warm with summer.
Now as the first leaves have caught fire and frost is around the corner, what can be better than to gather around the fire and share some poetry
Nothing Gold Can Stay
BY ROBERT FROST
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Currently still at work, but wanted to sneak a little well needed poetry.
We are still not feeling the Summer gone here in Belgrade, temperatures are still high and the weather is iffy, but hopefully, Autumn will make a grand entrance soon.
Linking up my latest poem, and looking forward to reading the other entries!
We are live tonight… I will get by and read later.
Such a lovely poem, and I can’t wait to see what autumn brings this year.

Bjorn, thanks for the picture. I wouldn’t have recognized you from the image of you that was in my mind. But then I don’t visualize very well any way. Nice picture, the both of you. Thanks again.
