Summer has gone, and for me, I spent it mostly in the coolness of the mountains except for those last few weeks of August. It was a true blessing to finally meet one of our bartenders here in Stockholm. Lillian and I spent a wonderful day in a city still warm with summer.

Now as the first leaves have caught fire and frost is around the corner, what can be better than to gather around the fire and share some poetry

Nothing Gold Can Stay
BY ROBERT FROST
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
