As promised, my last poem of the year ‘My Life’ is a bit grittier than the previous one posted in the Autumn/Fall. Nevertheless I hope it still resonates with you…
So, it is all rather serendipitous given Bjorn’s chosen inspiration this time round and I think you will, spookily enough, find a bit Iggy like…
Not that long ago, we also released on the site the results of a recent experiment, using Artificial Intelligence. Needless to say, this was a more a matter of mere curiosity and won’t be repeated – but you may be intrigued enough to also check this out on my site sometime.
Either way, I hope my new poem ‘My Life” at least touches you… And also look forward to reading everyone’s new stuff tonight too

I will be sharing my poem from a few days ago.
I would dearly love to join the readings, but my day job requires me to be on the phone constantly; it is glorious for reading and writing, but unfortunately prohibits me from speaking. It makes me wonder would it work to record a reading, and send it some way?

Hello, I know this problem… would the Saturday time work better for you?
We tried to record a while ago, but I felt that some people were a little bit uncomfortable with it. Then it is an issue with how to do it without having to spend money on a commercial tool… I do have teams in my own company now so I believe it can be done.
Sadly, my only non – working days are Sunday and Monday, and both tend to be cramped with family duties and house chores.
Would you happen to know of any programs members had experience with in the past? Nowadays, compared to when I was trying to record poetry readings in the past, I have a voice recorder on my phone and the quality is not studio, but it is decent. I get that it would be vastly impersonal, to just hear a poem, but this way I always feel rude for missing out and like not wanting to contribute.
I often record poems via my webcam then upload to my YouTube channel. I can then use them on my blog.

It is excellent to have as a backgriund when reading poetry.

Oh I really am curious hearing more about that
It was in The Halls in Norwich and it was sold out. David booked in September and we had the best seats. There were 3,500 LED candles and the string quartet was fantastic. They played the whole of The Four Seasons and their finale was La Folia, which we were allowed to photograph and video. I have a one-minute video and some photos, which I posted on Facebok.
That was the best reading of “Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night” I’ve ever heard.
I agree… really gives tht darkness.
